About the Role:

As the Senior Accounting Manager, you’ll be the key leader overseeing the accounting and financial reporting for our 16 operational hotels, a full-service hotel currently under development, and a growing list of related companies. You’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across our portfolio by applying your deep knowledge of GAAP and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).

You’ll report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, working closely with hotel leaders and cross-functional teams. This position is fully on-site at our corporate headquarters in Frederick, MD.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead all accounting operations across multiple hotel entities and holding companies.

  • Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts.

  • Supervise internal audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

  • Prepare capital project reporting, investor distributions, and K-1 statements.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day guidance to the accounting team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy in development cost tracking and reimbursement.

  • Represent the accounting team in front of stakeholders, hotel leadership, and investors.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in multi-property hospitality accounting.

  • Expertise in GAAP, USALI, and financial reporting best practices.

  • Strong experience with M3 Accounting, Paycom, and Sage 100 is a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
