Chef Engineer

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, operation, and repair of all hotel equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and inviting environment for guests and staff. This role leads a team of engineers and maintenance personnel, manages preventative maintenance programs, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and brand standards.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless project execution.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Implement safety protocols and best practices in all engineering operations.
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.

About You:

Proven experience in a Chief Engineer or similar leadership role within an engineering environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC systems.
Proficiency in managing projects from inception to completion while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with both high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is essential.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
Proficient in English communication for effective collaboration across teams.
